The Colorectal Nursing Department at Hereford Hospitals NHS Trust wishes to thank a local fundraising team for their support this year. The team managed to raise £1010.00 which they have donated to Hereford Hospitals Colorectal Nursing Department.

The latest figures for Hereford Hospitals NHS Trust which include all of Herefordshire and parts of Powys show that over 100 people were diagnosed with lung cancer in 2008. The majority of cases are likely to have been caused by smoking.

The Cardiac Rehabilitation and Heart Function Team at Hereford Hospitals NHS Trust have been successful in an application to Advantage West Midlands and Herefordshire Access to Services Partnership for monies to help support and develop cardiac rehabilitation in Herefordshire.
